Overview
- Create new quote from Quote menu (describe how you can also do this from the client search area)
- Explain how Companies House does a full search on client pre populating all info into Customer information section (also sanction checking directors and credit checks etc.)
- Select broker, pick product, currency, policy term, start date etc.
- Explain VRI option if a full quote isn’t needed yet, then add in an indicative premium here and then the notes added will then pre-populate an e-mail template that can then be tailored. If full quote is required, VRI should be left unticked and proceed to next page
- Show Contract basis – show we can enable slip business here
- Go through risk questions, these answers populate the rater in the back end to generate the initial technical rate. – show Rating breakup to demonstrate this
- Show the Premium Breakup – insurer on the product, introducer, tiering and admin charges such as admin fees and also taxes. These can be overridden easily and configured as needed.
- Show quote management eg abandon/reject etc and reasons for this. Feeds the MI
- Demonstrate where to manually refer the quote and explain these can be automatically applied based on particular risk questions (demonstrated in another video)
- Show Email Quote function and view documents, show how to manually amend documents if required – create and save or create and email – will email to addresses in the email address list
- If broker is happy with the emailed quote, you can then bind – policy number will be automatically generated but demonstrate overriding policy number or adding another policy reference. Payment page
